Serving is the thread that binds all of us together. Serving at St. Paul creates opportunities for spiritual growth, community building, and reflecting the example of Jesus. Knowing where and how to serve begins with understanding our spiritual gifts. A spiritual gift is a special divine empowerment bestowed on each believer by the Holy Spirit to accomplish ministry God's way within the context of the body of Christ.
Spiritual gifts are given by God through the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work of ministry as God sees fit. Believers are called to act as stewards of these gifts and use them to glorify God and to serve others.
We invite you to take a few moments to examine the spiritual gifts God has placed in you and better understand them by following a few key steps:
- Take the Spiritual Gifts Survey.
- Review the survey results and detailed report about your gifts.
- Return to the Ministries Page and read the descriptions of different Ministries at St. Paul.
- Pray and consider where your gifts might best be used for God’s glory.
