“Come
and Talk to Me”
Even the most “lovey-dovey” couples don’t always convey
their feelings and thoughts to each other in a healthy
way. This course explains fundamental strategies to
establish healthy communication between couples.
Pastor
Gibson is also the Co-Executive Editor of the
prestigious preaching journal
The African American Pulpit.
Dr. Gibson also shares his teaching gifts as
Co-Facilitator of the
Preaching As Celebration
class
with Rev. Dr. Frank A. Thomas at McCormick Theological
Seminary in Chicago, Illinois and as an Adjunct
Professor at Memphis Theological Seminary where he
teaches the
Senior Preaching Practicum.
He recently received a certificate for post graduate
work in Religion and Ethics from Regents Park College,
Oxford University in London, England.

“Fire and Desire”
Let’s Face it. Perhaps the most
difficult challenge associated with being single
is—BEING SINGLE!!! This course will offer Biblical
insight into the struggles associated with the physical
and emotional aspects of Godly singleness.
E. Marcel Jones
served as the Singles Minister and Lay Pastor at
Cummings Street Church for ten years. He continues to
serve as a ministry leader at this church of nearly
8,000 members under the guidance of his pastor Gary L.
Faulkner. During his tenure as a ministry leader, he
has preached the keynote address for several Singles
conferences and has published several articles in
magazines and newsletters of interest to growing
Christians. He has also led the children's ministry as
well as the youth and young adult ministry. He has a
sincere and deep passion for ministering to singles and
youth.

“I Have A Dream”
There is something inside a child
of God that drives him or her to want to make a
difference. This course introduces a variety of options
for the person who is committed to impacting his or her
community.
Pastor Norman has
been successful in implementing an on-going campaign of
community revitalization and strategic planning for
future generations of FBC, including the completion of a
$2 million Multi-Purpose Family Life/Worship Facility.
The latest undertaking of this vision-inspired ministry
is the purchase and renovation of a 50,000-square-foot
abandoned building, ultimately to be known as The
H.O.P.E. Zone (Haven of Perfective Empowerment). Upon
completion, The H.O.P.E. Zone will be dedicated to
Christian education, senior living, temporary housing
for the homeless and other much-needed ministry and
services for the people of God and the community at
large. He is the founder and principal officer of
GREATER WORKS Inc., a ministry with emphasis in
organizational management aimed at empowering the church
into action and optimum service to the community.

“The Sound of Music”
It could be argued that music is
the most influential art form that God has given
mankind. It also happens to be Satan’s area of
expertise. This course emphasizes the detrimental
effects of secular music on the life of a believer.
Rev. Henderson accepted his calling and received his license to preach
the gospel from Dr. Lester Basken. It was then that he
began to develop a zeal for endorsing intimacy with God,
the evidence thereof being a “Word” that promoted
relationship over religion.
Minister Henderson now holds membership
at St. Paul Baptist Church, under the tutelage of Dr.
Christopher B. Davis, where Min. Henderson believes
that he can and will make full proof of his ministry.
Of course, this ministry is founded upon the knowledge
of the redemptive power of Christ and the ever present
comfort of the Holy Spirit. |
